Welcome to the FC Insights Core Plays and Cheat Sheet Article for DraftKings.
In this post, we will be breaking down our top options and plays for DraftKings for each night of the 2019-2020 NBA DFS season.
- Chandler Hutchison (26.00 fantasy points, 8.1x value)
- Terry Rozier (33.25 fantasy points, 4.8x value)
- Brandon Ingram (42.25 fantasy points, 5.3x value)
- Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (21.25 fantasy points, 3.0x value)
In the two games with Ben Simmons either playing very limited minutes or out all together Neto has been the one to benefit the most. Neto has played at least 30 minutes in each of those games and is averaging 12 points, five assists, 2.5 rebounds, and two steals+blocks. Neto has at least 25 fantasy points in each of those games and there is no reason to believe he doesn’t have similar production tonight against a Hornets team that ranks 24th in team defensive net rating.
I don’t believe that Rodney Hood plays tonight and if that is the case I really like Simons. Simons played 36 minutes in the Trail Blazers’ last game after Hood went down early with an injury and played well with 15 points, four rebounds, and two assists on his way to 26 fantasy points. That game was the third straight game that Simons had produced at least 22 fantasy points. Simons is not just playing well and would not just get the huge boost if Hood is out but the match-up against the Hawks is also one to target. This season the Hawks are allowing the fifth-most fantasy points per game to small forwards which is where Simons should get the majority of his minutes tonight.
Giannis is my top stud on this slate. This season, the Greek Freak is averaging 29.1 points, 14.1 rebounds, 7.2 assists, and three steals+blocks. Antetokounmpo has at least 50 fantasy points in all but one game, at least 60 fantasy points in four straight games and is averaging an elite 1.89 fantasy points per minute. The Thunder is not a team that should be able to slow Giannis down and I am expecting another 60 plus fantasy points from him. The only thing that ever is a knock on Giannis is his salary but tonight with as much value as this slate has, you should have no trouble affording Mr. ABC.
I am going to live and die by Baynes tonight. Baynes has just been that good since Deandre Ayton’s suspension. In those seven games, Baynes is averaging 17.6 points, 6.1 rebounds, 3.6 assists, and a block. Baynes has at least 28 fantasy points in six of those seven games. Baynes is not just putting up big numbers with Ayton out but the match-up with the Nets is one that you want to pick on with centers. The Nets allowed the most fantasy points per game to centers over the past three seasons and so far this season they have continued that trend as they are once again allowing the most fantasy points per game to the position.
Please note that we can only list a player at one position on the cheat sheets and unless otherwise noted I like the player at both of their eligible positions.
