Welcome to the FC Insights Core Plays and Cheat Sheet Article for FantasyDraft.
In this post, we will be breaking down our top options and plays for FantasyDraft for each DFS week of the 2019-2020 NFL DFS season.
In this article, I am going to give you my four top players for FantasyDraft as well as my cheat sheet. My cheat sheet will include any player that I have more than 15% exposure to as of this writing on FantasyDraft.
Last Weeks Results
- Derek Carr (19.56 fantasy points)
- Dalvin Cook (15.60 fantasy points)
- Darren Waller (7.20 fantasy points)
- Browns (5.00 fantasy points)
Tannehill is not even close to being my favorite quarterback this week but at only a $100 above the site minimum, I cannot pass over Tannehill. There are two reasons why I cannot pass over Tannehill at this salary. The first of those reasons is the way he has played. In his three starts, Tannehill is averaging 278.67 passing yards, two touchdown passes, and 23.55 fantasy points. The second reason is the match-up against the Chiefs. The Chiefs due to their prolific offense have given up points and yards in bunches as teams pass the ball to try to keep up. This season the Chiefs have allowed the 11th most passing yards and 11th most fantasy points per game to quarterbacks.
Singletary is starting to take over the Bills backfield. Over the past two weeks, Singletary has out-snapped and out-touched Frank Gore and is coming off a career-high 23 touches last week. In that game, Singletary had 140 total yards and a score on his way to 23 fantasy points. While I am not sure that Singletary can put up 20 plus fantasy points again he should produce double-digit fantasy points as he has failed to hit that mark just once in his career which was in his first game back from injury and is in an elite match-up against the Browns. The Browns are allowing the third-most rushing yards per game and 11th most fantasy points per game to running backs.
Evans has been a target monster over the past three weeks. In those three games, Evans has seen 17, 12, and 16 targets. Evans has turned those targets into averages of 10.67 catches, 158 receiving yards, and a score. Evans has produced at least twenty fantasy points in those games and outside of a weird game against the Saints in week five has at least 18 fantasy points in five of his past six games. This week I am expecting another big game from Evans as he takes on a Cardinals team that has allowed the tenth-most fantasy points per game to wide receivers this season and is allowing the fourth-most passing yards per game.
This play is not for the faint of heart but with Evan Engram out due to injury I really like Ellison at the minimum salary. When Engram missed week six against the Patriots, Ellison saw seven targets and had three catches for 30 yards. This week Ellison is likely to see similar targets and I like him to have better production as the Giants take on the Jets. The Jets on paper are a bad match-up for tight ends but when you really dig into the numbers you will see that they have struggled against the few good tight ends they have faced.
