Welcome to the FC Insights Core Plays and Cheat Sheet Article for Yahoo.
In this post, we will be breaking down our top options and plays for Yahoo for each DFS week of the 2019-2020 NFL DFS season.
In this article, I am going to give you my four top players for Yahoo as well as my cheat sheet. My cheat sheet will include any player that I have more than 15% exposure to as of this writing on Yahoo.
Last Weeks Results
- Kyler Murray (28.80 fantasy points)
- Michael Gallup (6.80 fantasy points)
- DJ Chark Jr. (5.80 fantasy points)
- Austin Hooper (21.70 fantasy points)
Murray is the cheapest of the elite quarterbacks this week and that makes him my top overall quarterback as Murray is not going to have his first bad fantasy game this week. The Giants are just awful in and have allowed the second-most passing yards per game, second-most rushing touchdowns to quarterbacks and fifth-most fantasy points per game to the position.
Fournette is by far my top player on this slate as he has at least 26 touches in three straight games. In those games, Fournette is averaging 135 rushing yards, four catches for 31.67 receiving yards and 20.67 fantasy points. Founette is not just putting up big numbers but he is also in the best possible match-up for running backs. This season the Bengals have allowed the third-most rushing yards per game, most rushing touchdowns, and most fantasy points per game to running backs.
It is looking very likely that the Packers are going to be done several starting wide receivers this week if not all of them. If that is indeed the case I don’t see how you don’t play Lazard this week. Lazard showed that he has the ability and in his first career extended action on Monday night he caught four of his five targets for 65 yards and a score. Lazard would likely see that many if not more targets this week and I expect him to have a similar performance as the match-up against the Raiders is a solid one. This season the Raiders are allowing the eighth-most fantasy points per game to wide receivers.
The Cowboys are likely to be down both Amari Cooper and Randall Cobb this week and that should mean plenty of playing time for Austin. With both players either out or playing very limited snaps last week, Austin saw six targets and turned those targets into five catches for 64 yards. This week I would expect similar if not better numbers for Austin as the Cowboys take on the Eagles. The Eagles funnel teams to the pass and this season are allowing the most fantasy points per game to the position.
