Why in the world is Murray only six dollars above site minimum for a quarterback this week? I really don’t have the answer to that question as it is a joke. There are two reasons why I think it is a joke. The first is the way Murray has played. Murray is averaging 264.8 passing yards per game this season, has at least 25 rushing yards in three straight games and is averaging 63 rushing yards in those games and has at least 16 fantasy points in each game this season. Murry has been able to produce those kinds of numbers while leaving points on the table as the Cardinals have struggled to finish drives. The second reason I love Murray is the match-up with the Falcons. This game is going to be a shootout and has the second-highest projected point total on the slate. The Falcons also struggle to contain quarterbacks. This season the Falcons have allowed the second-most touchdown passes and 13th most passing yards per game. Since week one when Kirk Cousins only passed the ball ten times, they have allowed each quarterback they have faced to produce at least 20 fantasy points and for the season they are allowing the third-most fantasy points per game to the position.
Gallup has been a beast this season. In his three games, he is averaging 6.77 catches for 113 yards. Gallup has at least 19 fantasy points in two of his three games. This week I don’t see Gallup slowing down as he faces the Jets. The Jets have two of the worst corners in the league and have really struggled against wide receivers split out wide. This season they rank in the bottom ten in fantasy points allowed to receivers split out wide and have allowed 21.8 fantasy points to John Brown, 25.10 fantasy points to Odell Beckham Jr. and 26.90 fantasy points to the combo of Phillip Dorsett/Josh Gordon.
WR-DJ Chark Jr.-$22
Baby Chark is dollar for dollar my favorite player on this slate. Chark has just been that good and is priced down for what his production shows he should be. This season Chark is averaging the sixth-most receiving yards per game and has the second-most touchdown receptions. Chark has at least 15 fantasy points in four of his five games and is averaging 18.4 fantasy points which are fourth-most on this slate taking away DeSean Jackson’s 31.4 fantasy points in the one game he has played. Chark has not only been playing great but the match-up against the Saints is an excellent one. This season the Saints have allowed the fifth-most receiving yards, fifth-most touchdown passes, and sixth-most fantasy points per game to wide receivers.
I don’t see how you don’t play Hooper this week. Hooper has just been that good this season. Hooper is second in receptions, third in receiving yards and first in fantasy points per game among tight ends this season. Hooper is also in the elite of elite match-ups against the Cardinals. This season the Cardinals have allowed the second-most receptions, most receiving yards, most touchdowns and most fantasy points per game to the position. This game as I talked about earlier should also be high scoring and is the game I want to stack the most this week.
