Welcome to the Daily Four Pack where we share four core players on DraftKings that you are going to want to target for MLB DFS contests on Friday, September 13, 2019.
Pitcher to Target
I really like Wainwright at his salary for several reasons. The first of those reasons is due to the way he is pitching. Wainwright has had back-to-back strong starts for the Cardinals pitching seven innings in both starts while allowing a total of just one run. The second reason is due to the fact this game is in St Louis. While Wainwright has struggled on the road this season he has been lights out at home with an ERA of 2.43 and a WHIP of 1.25. The ERA is almost four runs lower than his road ERA and the WHIP is .31 lower. The last reason is the match-up against the Brewers. The Brewers recently lost Christian Yelich for the season and Keston Hiura and while they still have some solid hitters they are not a very good lineup with those two players out.

Hitters to Target
Stewart returned to the Tigers lineup nine games ago. In those games, he is slashing .303/.314/.727 with an ISO of .424 and a wOBA of .410. Stewart has six extra-base hits including four home runs and eight RBIs in those games. This recent hot streak along with an excellent match-up against Aaron Brooks who is allowing lefties to slash .306/.369/.560 with a .385 wOBA this season makes him my top value play on the slate as he is just $3,900 in salary.
Yesterday’s Results: Guillermo Heredia N/A not in the lineup
I targeted Long yesterday and he paid off for me with two hits including a double. I am going right back to the well with him tonight as he is still cheap, should still be hitting leadoff and is in another fantastic match-up. Dylan Covey is just awful especially against left-handed hitters as this season he is allowing them to slash .367/.461/.622 with a .447 wOBA.
Yesterday’s Results: Shed Long 8.00 fantasy points
Arenado has reached base in 17 straight games for the Rockies. In those games, he is slashing .407/.486/.831 with an ISO of .424 and a wOBA of .518. Arenado has seven home runs, 13 runs scored and 13 RBIs in those games. Arenado is not just smoking hot but he is also at home against a lefty and Arenado equals money when facing a left-handed pitcher especially at Coors. Arenado has a career OPS of 1.183, an ISO of .372 and a wOBA of .484 at Coors against left-handed pitching. Arenado has also had success in the past against Joey Lucchesi with six hits with three of those being extra-base hits including a home run in his 17 at-bats against him. Arenado is my top hitter on this slate and it really is not even close.
