Sharing our top CFL DFS Lineup Picks and Recommended Plays for DraftKings DFS contests – Week 9 of the 2019 season
Our best daily fantasy CFL lineup advice, picks and plays for week 9 of the CFL season (cash games and GPPs).
Welcome to The Key Three.
This post will be similar to our MLB, NBA, NHL, and NFL Core Plays. We will be offering our cheat sheet for the full week slate of games.
I will highlight three players I am looking at for my rosters – focusing on some plays that are great foundations for your CFL DraftKings lineups for Week 9!
1) QB- Dane Evans, HAM, $7,500 — I had Evans here last week and while he didn’t have a blow you out of the water game he was very effective for his salary with 16.64 fantasy points. I am going right back to him this week as his salary didn’t rise up much and I love the match-up for him against the Lions. While the Lions are middle of the road in passing yards allowed per game and passing yards allowed per attempt they have allowed the most touchdown passes this season. Evans should easily be able to produce in the 15 fantasy point range with the potential for much more.
2) RB- C.J. Gable, EDM, $8,000 — Gable has not done much since opening the season with back-to-back 100-yard rushing games and still has not found the end zone through the ground but that does not have me worried this week as the Eskimos take on the Redblacks. Ottawa is just awful at stopping the run. This season they are allowing the second-most rushing yards per game at 120.1 and have allowed the most rushing touchdowns at 11. The game script should also be in Gable’s favor as the Eskimos are huge nine-point home favorites.
3) WR – Kyran Moore, SSK, $7,500 — I will like Moore a lot better if Shaq Evans who is a game-time decision is out as Moore would see a huge boost but even if Evans plays I still like Moore this week. Moore has been consistent with at least four catches in every game since the opener and has double-digit fantasy point in five of his past six games. The match-up for Moore is also an excellent one as Montreal has allowed the third-most passing yards per game to wide receivers this season.
Best of Luck in Week 9 CFL action. Here’s to hoping you can get the season off to a good start!
