The Fearsome 4 | July 20, 2019 – FanDuel & DraftKings WNBA DFS Expert Lineup Picks

FanDuel & DraftKings Expert WNBA DFS Cash Game & GPP Lineup Picks for Saturday, July 20, 2019.

Daily fantasy basketball lineup advice, picks and plays (7/20) to help you win your WNBA DFS contests.

Let’s take a closer look at some plays for today’s contests with our “Fearsome 4” picks for the day’s slate.

Just like in the NBA it is important to follow the news when it comes to WNBA. While WNBA news is hard to come by at times there are a couple of good resources for news out there. One is Rotowire.com. While I am not a fan in general of Rotowire they are a great news source for WNBA injuries. They also will give you projected starting lineups and confirmed starting lineups which are really hard to come by. Another source I like to use is following the teams beat writers on Twitter.

FanDuel

Essence Carson, G, PHO, $3,900

Carson has really stepped up for the Mercury the past two games with both Sancho Lyttle and Diana Taurasi out. In those two games, Carson is averaging just shy of 24 minutes a game with nine points, three rebounds, and two steals. Carson has produced at least 20 fantasy points in both of those games with one of those games being against the same Wings team she faces today.

Marina Mabrey, G, LA, $3,400

The Sparks are dealing with a ton of missing players right now and that has given Mabrey a chance to show what she can do. Mabrey has played double-digit minutes in each of the Sparks past three games and has produced double-digit fantasy points in each of those games as well. Today we should see both of those trends as the Sparks take on a Liberty team that allows the most points per game and plays at the second-fastest pace.

Nneka Ogwumike, F, LA, $8,000

Candace Parker has only played six minutes in the past four games including missing the past three games and is going to be out once again tonight. Parker’s absence makes Ogwumike beyond my favorite player on this slate as she is smoking hot. In her past five games, Ogwumike is averaging 21.4 points, 9.6 rebounds, and 3.8 steals+blocks. Ogwumike has at least 35 fantasy points in each of those games and should hit that mark with ease today as once again the Liberty suck and Ogwumike has produced at least 30 fantasy points against them in each of her two previous meetings against them this season.

Isabelle Harrison, F, DAL, $5,700

Harrison is not the safest play on this slate and struggled against the Mercury when the Wings faced them last time. With that being said I love Harrison today as she has been really good in her past five games minus that game which she played limited minutes due to the blowout nature of that game. In her other four games, Harrison has produced at least 20 fantasy points with three of those games being games she produced at least 30 fantasy points. If this game stays close which I think it does, Harrison will be one of the top points per dollar plays on this slate.

If you roster these four players that leaves you $6,333 in salary for your final three spots on FanDuel.

DraftKings

Essence Carson, G, PHO, $5,200/Marina Mabrey, G, LA, $4,900/Nneka Ogwumike, F, LA, $11,100

On this two-game slate, my core between the two sites is going to remain the same. I am going to go cheap at the guard position with the two guards mentioned in the FanDuel article and Ogwumike is my top overall ranked player on this slate.

If you roster these four players that leaves you $9,600 in salary for your final three spots on DraftKings.
