Sharing our top CFL DFS Lineup Picks and Recommended Plays for DraftKings DFS contests – Week 6 of the 2019 season
Our best daily fantasy CFL lineup advice, picks and plays for week 6 of the CFL season (cash games and GPPs).
Welcome to The Key Three.
This post will be similar to our MLB, NBA, NHL, and NFL Core Plays. We will be offering our cheat sheet for the full week slate of games.
I will highlight three players I am looking at for my rosters – focusing on some plays that are great foundations for your CFL DraftKings lineups for Week 6!
1) QB- Trevor Harris, EDM, $10,500 — Harris is uber-expensive this week but I don’t see a way around spending up for him. Harris has been that good this season as he is averaging 340.5 passing yards and two passing touchdowns a game. Harris has also gotten done on the ground this season with a rushing touchdown in three of his four games. Harris has at least 18 fantasy points in each game this season and is averaging an insane 28.62 fantasy points per game. Harris has not just been excellent but there is no better match-up than against the Alouettes. The Alouettes are allowing the most passing yards per game this season by almost 40 yards. Harris went for 40.08 fantasy points against them in game one and I am expecting them to have a similar game this week.
2) RB- John Crockett, OTT, $3,500 — Crockett made his season debut last week for the RedBlacks and made an immediate impact. Crockett had eight carries for 62 yards and added in 31 return yards on his way to 7.75 fantasy points. This week we should see Crockett only improve on those numbers as he should get more touches. What I really love about Crockett is his salary as he is dirt cheap at just $3,500 in salary. The only real issue I have with Crockett this week is his match-up as the Blue Bombers have been stout against the run.
3) DST – Stampeders, CGY, $5,000 — It always feels weird to have a defense as a core play but the Stampeders really stand out to me for several reasons. The first is they have been excellent. The Stampeders have eight interceptions, two fumble recovers, 11 sacks, and two touchdowns this season. They have produced double-digit fantasy points in all but one of their four games this season. The second reason is their salary. The Stampeders despite leading the CFL in fantasy points per game are only the third most expensive defense on this slate. The last and main reason why I love them this week is their match-up against Toronto. The Argonauts are second to last in yards per game and last in both points per game and plays per game.
Best of Luck in Week 6 CFL action. Here’s to hoping you can get the season off to a good start!
