FanDuel & DraftKings Expert WNBA DFS Cash Game & GPP Lineup Picks for Sunday, July 14, 2019.

Daily fantasy basketball lineup advice, picks and plays (7/14) to help you win your WNBA DFS contests.

Let’s take a closer look at some plays for today’s contests with our “Fearsome 4” picks for the day’s slate.

Just like in the NBA it is important to follow the news when it comes to WNBA. While WNBA news is hard to come by at times there are a couple of good resources for news out there. One is While I am not a fan in general of Rotowire they are a great news source for WNBA injuries. They also will give you projected starting lineups and confirmed starting lineups which are really hard to come by. Another source I like to use is following the teams beat writers on Twitter.

Natasha Howard, F, SEA, $7,700

Howard is likely to be suspended for an incident with her girlfriend early in the week but that suspension should not be handed down in time for this game. Howard should be in the starting lineup for the Storm and she should be dominating like she has all season long as she takes on a really bad Liberty defense. The Liberty allow the second-most points per game in the paint, fourth-most rebounds per game and most points per game this season. When Howard faced off against the Liberty earlier in the month she had 15/6/3 with four steals on her way to 34.7 fantasy points and we should easily expect a similar performance in this one.

Temi Fagbenle, F, MIN, $3,000

Fagbenle is back from Europe and has been activated for today’s game. While there is plenty of risk involved with a player in their first game of the season as we don’t really know what their role will be I think the risk is well worth it with Fagbenle today. Fagbenle is minimum salary and should be in line for huge minutes as the Lynx are missing a ton of players. The Lynx will be down six players including four forwards with Damiris Dantas being the big name of the forward group as she will be missing her sixth straight game today.

Arike Ogunbowale, G, DAL, $6,200

Ogunbowale is one of my favorite guards on this slate as she is playing great basketball. Ogwunbowale has scored in double-digits in nine of her past ten games for the Wings including in eight straight games. Ogwunbowale is not just scoring at an elite level but she is also in an elite match-up against the Sky. The Sky are allowing the third-most points per game this season and last time these two teams met a couple of games ago she went for 22/6/5 on her way to 37.7 fantasy points.

Nneka Ogwumike, F, LA, $7,400

I don’t see how you don’t roster Ogwumike today with the way she is playing and Candace Parker still out. In her past three games, two of which have come with Parker playing a total of six minutes Ogwumike is averaging 22.67 points, 8.67 rebounds, 2.33 assists, a block, and three steals. Ogwumike has at least 35 fantasy points in each of those games and has produced at least 50 fantasy points in two of the games. The Dream are also not a team that should slow Ogwumike down as they are allowing the most rebounds per game and are just middle of the road in terms of points per game allowed this season.

If you roster these four players that leaves you $5,233 in salary for your final three spots on FanDuel.

Sami Whitcomb, G, SEA, $7,500

Whitcomb has really stepped up for the Storm with Jewell Loyd out. In the five games that Loyd has missed Whitcomb has played at least 25 minutes and is averaging 10.6 points, 3.8 rebounds, 3.2 assists, and 2.2 steals+blocks. Whitcomb has at least 17 fantasy points in each of those games and has three games with at least 28 fantasy points. Today we should expect more of the same from Whitcomb as one of those five games was against the same Liberty team she faces today and the Liberty are one of if not the worst defensive team in the WNBA.

Chiney Ogwumike, F, LA, $9,000

Ogwumike’s salary has risen but she is still too cheap for Candace Parker to be out. With Parker out, Ogwumike moves into the starting lineup and she normally dominates. In the seven games that Parker and Maria Vadeeva has missed, Ogwumike has produced at least 28 fantasy points in six of the games with at least 34 fantasy points in five of the games including in her last game with both players out. The Dream as I talked about in the FanDuel portion of this article with her sister are also a really damn good match-up.

Briann January, G, PHO, $5,300

I personally don’t think January is a good player but she is cheap and plays a lot of minutes. January has played at least 26 minutes in all but one game this season and should play at least that many minutes with both Diana Taurasi and Sancho Lyttle doubtful for today’s game. January is not only playing a lot of minutes right now but she has also produced at a nice level the past two games with 15.5 fantasy points and 37.75 fantasy points which was a total outlier. If January produced 15 fantasy points today which I think she can then she would pay off her salary.

If you roster these four players that leaves you $9,400 in salary for your final three spots on DraftKings.
