The Fearsome 4 | June 25, 2019 – FanDuel & DraftKings WNBA DFS Expert Lineup Picks

FanDuel & DraftKings Expert WNBA DFS Cash Game & GPP Lineup Picks for Tuesday, June 25, 2019.

Daily fantasy basketball lineup advice, picks and plays (6/25) to help you win your WNBA DFS contests.

Let’s take a closer look at some plays for today’s contests with our “Fearsome 4” picks for the day’s slate.

As promised we are going to change up this article a bit by giving you our core plays for each site. On FanDuel we will give you our core four plays with them having seven roster spots and on DraftKings we will give you our core three plays with only six roster spots on that site. Keep in mind that some of the plays may be the same for both sites.

Just like in the NBA it is important to follow the news when it comes to WNBA. While WNBA is hard to come by at times there are a couple of good resources for news out there. One is While I am not a fan in general of Rotowire they are a great news source for WNBA injuries. They all will give you projected starting lineups and confirmed starting lineups which is really hard to come by. Another source I like to use is following the teams beat writers on Twitter.

Teaira McCowan, F, IND, $5,000

Natalie Achonwa was able to play on Sunday but is still dealing with a calf injury and while she is likely to play tonight she is not going to be near 100%. That should mean we see a fourth straight start for McCowan who has been excellent in her first three starts. In those starts, McCowan has at least 13 rebounds in every game and is averaging 10 points and two blocks to go along with the rebounds. McCowan has produced at least 20 fantasy points in each of those games and I expect her to have a similar performance even with a horrible match-up against the Lynx on tap.

Napheesa Collier, F, MIN, $6,400

Collier has played at least 29 minutes in all but one of her games this season. Collier is not just playing a ton of minutes for the Lynx but she is putting up some big-time fantasy performances mainly due to her ability to rack up defensive stats. Collier is averaging a block and 1.8 steals per game to go along with 11.9 points, 5.3 rebounds, and two assists. Collier has at least 16 fantasy points in all but one game and has produced at least 28 fantasy points in five of her games. I don’t see a reason why Collier cannot put up 25 plus fantasy points in this one and that makes her one of the best points per dollar plays on this slate along with Teaira McCowan.

Danielle Robinson, G, MIN, $5,200

Robinson has at least 19 fantasy points in eight of her ten games this season and is averaging 21.03 fantasy points per game. The fantasy points per game are the sixth most among guards on this slate yet she is the tenth most expensive guard on this slate. That pricing difference compared to her fantasy points per game and her consistent play as I outlined above are the reasons why Robinson is a core play of mine.

Karima Christmas-Kelly, G, MIN, $3,400

Christmas-Kelly is the best overall value on this slate as she is only $3,400 in salary and is playing decent minutes since her return from injury, Christmas-Kelly has played double-digit minutes in three of her four games since her return and in those games, she has produced at least 7.4 fantasy points and is averaging 10.5 fantasy points per game. While ten fantasy points doesn’t seem like a lot it is plenty for someone of her salary especially when you factor in that rostering Christmas-Kelly gives you the salary needed to roster one of the stud players on this slate.

If you roster these four players that leaves you $6,667 in salary for your final three spots on FanDuel.

Napheesa Collier, F, MIN, $7,500

I covered why I like Collier in the FanDuel portion of this article but I wanted to point out that I actually like her a bit more on DraftKings where she is actually cheaper than Teaira McCowan.

Karima Christmas-Kelly, G, $4,100

I covered Christmas-Kelly in the FanDuel portion of this article.

Jordin Canada, G, $5,900

Canada has missed the past three games for the Storm but is expected to return to the lineup tonight and while I doubt that she is 100% if she is anywhere close to it she is a steal on DraftKings. Canada was routinely priced above $7,000 before the injury as she had been excellent with at least 22 fantasy points in six of her eight games before suffering the injury against the Mystics.

If you roster these three players that leaves you $10,766 in salary for your final three spots on DraftKings. This amount of salary allows you to roster any three players you like on this slate and even allows you to upgrade Christmas-Kelly if you are not comfortable with her.
