Welcome to the Daily Four Pack where we share four core players on FanDuel that you are going to want to target for MLB DFS contests on Monday, June 24, 2019.
In this article, I am going to give you four core plays that I am using in cash games for the main slate of games. This core will include my favorite pitcher, my favorite expensive hitter, my favorite mid-tier hitter, and my top value hitter. For my value hitter, the hitter must be under $3,000 in salary to be considered and for the mid-tier hitter, they must be between $3,000 and $3,900 in salary.
Pitcher to Target
Gray is my favorite pitcher on FanDuel tonight due to his salary and match-up. Gray is very affordable at $8,500 in salary and takes on a bad Giants offense in AT&T Park. This season the Giants rank 28th in team wOBA and 26th in team ISO against right-handed pitching while having a team K rate of 23.2%. When Gray faced them earlier in the season he pitched 6.2 innings with only one run allowed and six strikeouts and that is the level of production I expect we see from him once again tonight.

Stud Hitter to Target
OF-Giancarlo Stanton-$4,200 OF- Ronald Acuna Jr.-$4,300 Stanton is by far my favorite hitter on this slate as he takes on Aaron Sanchez. Sanchez has been awful in the month of June and happens to be left-handed. In his career, Stanton has an OPS of 1.021, an ISO of .335 and a wOBA of .422 against left-handed pitching. I am calling my shot here with Stanton by saying he will go deep for the first time this season.
I don’t know why but when writing this article I had Aaron Sanchez as left-handed and not right-handed. While I still like Stanton tonight Ronald Acuna Jr. is a better play as he is facing a left-handed pitcher. In his short career, Acuna Jr. has an OPS of .998, an ISO of .293 and a wOBA of .416 against the lefties. The left-handed pitcher he is facing Jon Lester is also one of my favorite hitters to target right-handed hitters against as Lester allows a ton of hard-contact to them at a 44.1% hard-hit rate.

Mid-Tier Hitter to Target
OF-Lourdes Gurriel Jr.-$3,000
CC Sabathia was solid in his last start against the Rays but is just not a great pitcher anymore and has really struggled against right-handed hitting. Sabathia is allowing righties to slash .281/.352/.561 with a .379 wOBA and a 42.5% hard-hit rate. Those struggles make Gurriel one of my top points per dollar plays on this slate. Gurriel has been excellent in his young career against lefties with an OPS of .894, an ISO of .244 and a wOBA of .374 and is hot with three multi-hit games in his past four.

Value Hitter to Target
Lopez has reached base safely in six straight games for the Royals and has four multi-hit games in that time frame. Lopez should continue to find success tonight against Adam Plutko who struggled against left-handed hitting last year in his first extended period of time in the majors allowing them to slash .319/.382/.667 with a .437 wOBA and a 36.6% hard-hit rate.
