WNBA DFS Cash Game & GPP Lineup Picks for Tuesday, June 18th, 2019.
Let’s take a closer look at some plays for today’s contests with our Troublesome 2 picks for the day’s slate.
While I personally am not a big fan of single-game contests there are a ton of single-game slates in WNBA. For those slates, we will give you our top player of the night or the player we are slotting into or Captain and MVP slot and our top value play of the night. For slates with more than a game on it, we will give you four core plays as well as a cheat sheet. We will not be doing content for two-day slates at this time. As always if you have any questions you can reach out to me on Twitter @zachsgotmoxy or by email email@example.com.
I cannot roster any of the Sparks players in my MVP or Captain spot tonight with Candace Parker back. The return of Parker even in what should be limited minutes is going to take away usage and production from the Ogwumike sisters as well as Chelsea Gray. With the Sparks off of my radar for the MVP and Captain spot that leaves either Natasha Cloud or Elena Delle Donne as your best options for those spots. Delle Donne is my choice on FanDuel for MVP as I think she is easily the highest scoring player on this slate. On DraftKings where the Captain is going to cost you more in salary, I do prefer Cloud or even Kristi Toliver as they are a lot cheaper than Delle Donne is. I wouldn’t even mind slotting Parker in that slot if we get word that she is going to play over 25 minutes as she is only $11,100 in salary at the captain’s spot which is not a salary you are going to see her at very often.
Value Play – Aerial Powers, F, WAS
While the top play of this slate is not cut and dry at all the top value on this slate is as Aerial Powers is head and shoulders above her competition. Powers has seen an increase in minutes in each game this season and is coming off a season-high 24 minutes her last time out. Powers is not only starting to play more minutes but she is producing at a very nice level scoring in double-figures in each of her past three games while producing at least 17 fantasy points using FanDuel’s scoring in each of those games as well.
