Welcome to the Daily Four Pack where we share four core players on DraftKings that you are going to want to target for MLB DFS contests on Tuesday, June 18, 2019.
Pitcher to Target
I don’t know what to make of Keller as on one hand he has been excellent in the minors with an ERA of 3.10 and a K/9 rate of 11.48 and is one of the top pitching prospects in the Pirates organization. On the other hand, Keller has really been bad in his two major league starts allowing 12 runs in just seven innings worth of work. With all that being said I am going to take the chance we see the Keller from Triple-A at his salary as the match-up against the Tigers. The Tigers rank dead last in team wOBA and 29th in team ISO while having the second highest team K rate at 26.3% against right-handed pitching this season. The Tigers are also going to lose their designated hitter which is going to hurt this even worse than it already is.

Hitters to Target
I love the salary on Carpenter who after a slow start to start to the season is starting to heat up. Carpenter has reached base safely in 25 of his past 28 games. In those games, he has an OPS of .865, an ISO of .235, a wOBA of .366 and six home runs including one last night. Carpenter is not only cheap and hitting the ball well but I like the match-up against Jordan Yamamoto. Yamamoto shut the Cardinals down in his first career start but I don’t think he can do it again as he did not have great numbers in Double-A this season before his call up.

Crawford should be hitting second for the Mariners tonight and I love him at his salary as Crawford has been on an on-base machine since he was called back up four games ago. Crawford has reached base safely in seven of his 19 plate appearances while also adding in two runs and four RBIs. What I really love about Crawford tonight is his match-up as he takes on Homer Bailey. Bailey has been decent against left-handed hitting this season but is still a pitcher that I like to pick on with lefties as over the past three calendar years he is allowing them to slash .290/.365/.486 with a .362 wOBA.

The Nationals game was PPD last night after an unnecessary late start and there is a chance that the game is PPD again tonight as the rain coverage based on my limited weather knowledge is worst tonight. With that being said if this game plays I am all over Adams for the same reasons I wrote up in this article yesterday which you can see below.
Adams had a huge series against Arizona with three home runs and eight RBIs and has been hitting the cover off the ball since his return from injury. Adams has started 14 games since his return from the IL. In those games, he has hits in 11 games and has hit six home runs with 14 RBIs. Adams is slugging .600 with an ISO of .333 during this stretch of games. While Adams is likely to slow down at some point I doubt the slow down comes tonight as he gets an elite match-up against Jake Arrieta. Arrieta is allowing left-handed hitters to slash .293/.380/.531 with a .380 wOBA this season.
Yesterday’s Results: Matt Adams 0.00 fantasy points as the game was a late PPD
