Sharing our top CFL DFS Lineup Picks and Recommended Plays for DraftKings DFS contests – Week 1 of the 2019 season
Our best daily fantasy CFL lineup advice, picks and plays for week 1 of the CFL season (cash games and GPPs).
Welcome to The Key Three.
This post will be similar to our MLB, NBA, NHL, and NFL Core Plays. We will be offering our cheat sheet for the full week slate of games.
I will highlight three players I am looking at for my rosters – focusing on some plays that are great foundations for your CFL DraftKings line-ups for Week 1!
1) QB- Mike Reilly, BC — Reilly was a beast last season throwing for 5,562 yards and 30 scores while also adding 13 scores on the ground. Reilly averaged 27.4 fantasy points per game which were by far the highest in the league. Reilly remains the premier player at the quarterback position though he does have some question marks with his move to the Lions. With the move to the Lions, Reilly is in a different offensive scheme with new skill position players but even with the question marks I still think Reilly ends up as the highest scoring player on this slate.
2) WR- Lucky Whitehead, WPG – Whitehead is the best value on this slate as he is not only expected to start at the slotback position for the Blue Bombers but he is also expected to return kicks and punts for them. The return game is where Whitehead gets his value for me as if you are new to playing CFL you do get points for return yards.
3) WR – Bryan Burnham, BC – Burnham was not exactly an elite fantasy option last season with only six games over 70 yards receiving but that is going to change this season as he is expected to be Mike Reilly’s top pass catcher. Reilly’s top pass catcher last season D’haquille Williams lead the CFL in yards with 1,579, touchdowns with 11 and was fourth in receptions with 88.
Best of Luck in Week 1 CFL action. Here’s to hoping you can get the season off to a good start!
