Welcome to the Daily Three Pack where we share three core players on Yahoo that you are going to want to target for MLB DFS contests on Tuesday, June 11, 2019.
In this article, I am going to give you three core plays that I am using in cash games for the main slate of games. This core will include a pitcher and two hitters. I will also give you a bonus play which will be my favorite expensive hitter normally over $20 in salary on this slate.
Pitcher to Target
Castillo has been one of the best pitchers in baseball this season. In his 13 starts, he has allowed two earned runs or less 11 times, has an ERA of 2.38, a K rate of 29.4% and a WHIP of 1.10. Tonight I don’t see Castillo slowing down as the Indians while hitting the ball better than they did at the start of the season they are still a great match-up for right-handed pitchers. This season the Indians rank 23rd in team ISO and team wOBA against righties while having a team K rate of 23.2%.

Hitters to Target
Lowe was a must play for me last night at $13 in salary and is a must play for me tonight at only a dollar more in salary as he is once again way too cheap. Lowe went deep last night for the Rays and now has eight hits with three home runs and seven RBIs in his past four games. Lowe is not only smoking hot but he is also in an elite match-up once again as he takes on Mike Fiers. Fiers is allowing left-handed hitters to slug .445 with a .322 wOBA and a 39.7% hard-hit rate this season.

Anytime I can get a hitter batting in the top five of a teams order for under $10 at Coors Field I am going to roster that player. Tonight we have that in CarGo who has a proven history of success at Coors Field as he played for the Rockies for most of his career. Gonzalez also has not been awful since joining the Cubs reaching base safely in all six games with a home run, four runs scored and three RBIs.

We need to watch to see if Sanchez catches the first game of the Mets-Yankees double-header. If he does there is a great chance that he is not in the lineup for the second game. If he doesn’t and is in the lineup he is by far my favorite catcher as I am not a big believer in the Jason Vargas we have seen the past month for the Mets. I also love the way Sanchez is hitting the ball with hits in 17 of his past 20 games with eight home runs during that time period.
