GANDER RV 400 – May 5, 2019

THIS WEEKS’ RACING ACTION HEADS TO DOVER INTERNATIONAL SPEEDWAY

NASCAR takes to the east coast for racing action in Delaware this week and we have picks for both DraftKings and FanDuel for you.

DraftKings Pick

DANIEL SUAREZ (DK $7,700) – Daniel Suarez has had good success at Dover in Cup Series racing. In his four races on this track, he has four top ten finishes. He has the highest average of any driver under $8,500 in salary with a 36.81 FPPR. He has scored 50 or fantasy points in 3 of his last four races with a 49.56 FPPR over that span. Despite having a higher FPPR than Aric Almirola, Erik Jones and Jimmie Johnson he is priced less than all of these drivers who are priced over $8K. With an average finishing place of 6.8 on this track, he has good potential to move up from his 14th starting position on Sunday.

(Daniel Suarez drives the #41 Ford for Stewart-Haas Racing.)

KURT BUSCH (DK $8,900) – Kurt makes both lists this week. His DraftKings price is just too low to pass up. He has the 4th best FPPR of any driver this week and is priced at 9th. He carries a higher average than Martin Truex Jr, Kevin Harvick, Chase Elliott and Denny Hamlin who are all priced higher. He has scored 45+ fantasy points 8 times already this season and has eclipsed 50 points in 3 of his last four races. He has finished outside of the top ten just once in his last 7 races when he finished in 12th. He heads to Dover where he finished in 5th in both visits to the track in 2018.

(Kurt Busch drives the #1 Chevrolet for Chip Ganassi Racing.)

FanDuel Pick

AUSTIN DILLON (FD $8,500) – In his last five starts at Dover International Speedway, Austin Dillon has 2 top ten finishes. In his last five starts in this year’s Cup Series, he has 3 finishes with 75 or more fantasy points and has averaged 67.44 FPPR and has three top ten finishes in that time. He has better fantasy averages than Aric Almirola and Kyle Larson who are both priced over $10.5K this week. He will start in 16th position on Sunday and if his last race at this track is any indication, he has good potential to move up. Last time at this track he finished 7th from a 14th starting position and finished with 77.9 fantasy points.

(Austin Dillon drives the #3 Chevrolet for Richard Childress Racing.)

KURT BUSCH (FD $11,800) – As promised, Kurt makes both lists this week. He is second only to brother Kyle Busch in FPPR on FanDuel yet he comes in at 9th in salary. The third highest FPPR belongs to Joey Logano who is priced $2,700 higher than Kurt Busch. Take a look above if you’re not convinced yet. His numbers over the last 7 races are fantastic. He is priced to sell and we are buying. He starts in the 19th position on Sunday and looks to move up and compete for the win.

(Kurt Busch drives the #1 Chevrolet for Chip Ganassi Racing.)

That’s all for this week. Good luck with your lineups!
