Welcome to the Daily Three Pack where we share three core players on DraftKings that you are going to want to target for MLB DFS contests on Saturday, April 20, 2019.
In this article, I am going to give you three core plays that I am using in cash games for the main slate of games. This core will include my favorite pitcher and two of my favorite hitters.
Pitcher to Target
Kikuchi has not been good in his rookie season after spending most of his career in Japan but is worth a look tonight at his salary due to the elite match-up against the Angels. While the Angels don’t strikeout a lot they are one of the weakest hitting teams in the majors against left-handed pitching. This season the Angles have the second-worst team OPS and team wOBA against left-handed pitching and since the start of last season, they have the third-worst marks in both categories.

Hitters to Target
I had Suarez in this article yesterday and he came through for us with a home run. I am going right back to the well with him tonight as his salary dropped $300 and he is facing another left-handed pitcher. As I stated yesterday, Suarez is one of the best in the business against lefties and since the start of last season, he has an OPS of 1.036, an ISO of .294 and a wOBA of .431 against them.

Aguilar has been really bad to start the season and if this game was in Los Angeles I wouldn’t want any part of Aguilar as Hyun-Jin Ryu is elite at home but with this game being at Miller Park I have some interest in Aguilar for two reasons. The first is Ryu not only has worst numbers on the road than he does at home but he is also coming off the IL and I always love to target hitters against pitchers coming off the IL. The second reason is due to Aguilar’s numbers against left-handed pitching. Last season, Aguilar had an OPS of .929, an ISO of .267 and a wOBA of .389 against lefties.
