The Primer NBA DFS Fantasy Cruncher

The Primer – NBA DFS Expert Analysis – April 19, 2019

Featuring in-depth analysis to help you crack the winning code for the NBA DFS slate on April 17, 2019.

I apologize for the short article today. I have no power at my house due to huge storms and wrote most of this article on my phone which only has about five percent battery life left.

Raptors @ Magic

Projected total: 210.0 with the Raptors 4.5 point road favorites

Series tied 1-1

Both Kawhi Leonard and Kyle Lowry had bounce back games in game two for the Raptors but Leonard is the only one to the two that is a priority for me on this slate as Lowry is fourth on the point guard pecking order for this slate.

Pascal Siakam is the top power forward on this slate and is my favorite player to target in this game.

Serge Ibaka, Norman Powell, and Danny Green each offer various degrees of value but none of the trio is a must play for me tonight.

Primary players to target: Kawhi Leonard, Pascal Siakam

Secondary players to target: Kyle Lowry, Serge Ibaka, Norman Powell, Danny Green

Aaron Gordon is the only safe play on the Magic and he is the only player I am actively targeting on their roster tonight but even then he is a secondary play.

Michael Carter-Williams has at least 18 fantasy points in both games of this series and should continue to get more minutes as the series goes on. At his salary, he is one of the top value plays on this slate.

Primary players to target: None

Secondary players to target: Aaron Gordon, Michael Carter-Williams

Celtics @ Pacers

Projected total: 203.5 with Pacers 3 point home favorites

Celtics lead series 2-0

It is the Kyrie Irving show for Boston and while he is a great play he is still below Damian Lillard and Russell Westbrook for me on this slate.

Outside of Irving, I have some interest in Jayson Tatum and Al Horford but I will not be making it a point to force either player into my lineups.

Primary players to target: Kyrie Irving

Secondary players to target: Jayson Tatum, Al Horford, Gordon Hayward for value

Only one player worth playing on the Pacers and that is Thaddeus Young as Young has at least 35 fantasy points in both games this series.

Primary players to target: Thaddeus Young

Secondary players to target: Bojan Bogdanovic

Trail Blazers @ Thunder

Projected total: 222.0 with the Thunder 7.5 home favorites

Trail Blazers lead series 2-0

Trail Blazers

Target the Trail Blazers two guards as they are both the top two players at their position tonight.

Maurice Harkless has played well in both games this series and is a nice value play.

Not expecting a bounce-back game from Enes Kanter tonight and just as I said to fade him in game two I am fading him tonight as game one was not the norm for him in this match-up.

Primary players to target: Damian Lillard, C.J. McCollum, Maurice Harkless

Secondary players to target: None

Both Russell Westbrook and Paul George are going to have big games while Steven Adams is the top center on this slate. Outside of those three, you can skip over the Thunder tonight.

Primary players to target: Russell Westbrook, Paul George, Steven Adams

Secondary players to target: None
