Taking a closer look at the day’s NBA DFS slate to uncover top value targets with the potential for big ROIs on Yahoo for March 26, 2019.
Tonight’s ten game slate is loaded with value plays at each position. I am not going to be able to write up each value play tonight that I like. I did touch on most of them in today’s Yahoo Cheat Sheet. Since I couldn’t write up each of the value plays that I like tonight I decided to focus on my top value play at each position.
PG-Shaquille Harrison ($11)- The point guard position is loaded with value plays tonight but Harrison stands out to me as the Bulls are going to be without Otto Porter Jr., Zach LaVine, and Kris Dunn. That is going to leave a lot of minutes and usage to go around on the Bulls with those three players down. Harrison should be one of the biggest benefactors of those players absence as he has the past two games with both LaVine and Porter out. In those games, Harrison has played at least 38 minutes and is putting up stats across the board with totals of 24 points, 15 rebounds, two assists, five steals, and two blocks. Harrison has produced at least 27 fantasy points in those games and has at least 22 fantasy points in four straight games. While the match-up against the Raptors is an awful one Harrison should pay off his $11 salary with ease tonight.
SG-Danuel House Jr. ($12)- Eric Gordon is listed as questionable tonight for the Rockets but all signs point toward him getting a day off. With Gordon likely out I love House. House has played at least 28 minutes in five of the six games since his return to the Rockets from the G-League and would most certainly play that many minutes tonight if Gordon were to be ruled out. In those six games, House is averaging 12.5 points and 4.5 rebounds. House has produced at least 23 fantasy points in four of those games.
SF-Justin Jackson ($10)- Jackson struggled in his last game against the Warriors but had put up big numbers in his two previous games for the Mavs. In those games, Jackson averaged 20 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 26.4 fantasy points while playing at least 32 minutes. Tonight I am expecting Jackson to go back to that level of production for a couple of reasons. The first is due to Tim Hardaway Jr. being out for the year. With Hardaway out Jackson is going to start and should play 30-plus minutes in non-blowouts which this game shouldn’t be. The second is due to the match-up against his former team the Kings. Not only do you get the revenge narrative for those of you who are gung-ho about that sort of thing but the Kings have also struggled against small forwards this season allowing the 11th most fantasy points per game to the position.
PF-Dario Saric ($12)- Power forward is the one position that doesn’t have a bunch of elite value plays tonight and is a position that I want to spend up at. With that being said if Taj Gibson is ruled out I am going to have a hard time not rostering Saric. In the three games that Gibson has missed since Saric joined the Wolves, he is averaging 13.7 points, 7.3 rebounds, two assists, and 26.8 fantasy points in 29.8 minutes of action. Saric would not only get the huge boost with Gibson out but the Clippers are a great team to target big men against. This season they are allowing the sixth-most fantasy points per game to power forwards.
C-Thomas Bryant ($14)- Bryant has started the past two games for the Wizards and been downright dominant. In those games, Bryant is averaging 19.5 points, 9.5 rebounds, and a block in 35 minutes of action. Bryant has at least 29 fantasy points in each of those games. Tonight we should expect similar production from Bryant as he is averaging 1.11 fantasy points per minute this season and faces a Lakers team that ranks in the bottom ten in fantasy points allowed per game, defensive efficiency and DRPM to the center position.
