Three strong plays with salaries far below their current production (Feb 11, 2019).
Ivica Zubac (LAC) @ MIN
Zubac is listed at a bargain price across the board. At $4,000 (DraftKings) and $3,900 (FanDuel), he should start once again for Los Angeles where he put up 29.8 fantasy points in his debut in Boston on Saturday, while falling one rebound short of a double-double. He should have fresher legs than teammate Montrezl Harrell (who has played five straight road games) as they go on the road again in Minnesota tonight. For Zubac in his new city, the big-man has big-time potential tonight at the C position.
Jabari Parker (WAS) @ DET
Parker isn’t a good deal on FanDuel tonight, he’s more like a free square at $3,900 (compared to $5,900 on DraftKings). He has scored 40+ fantasy points on FanDuel in 3 of his last 4 games. In those 3 games, he averaged 26.7 MPG. It is clear that Washington intends to give him more minutes than he had in Chicago, logging 23 and 34 minutes in his two games since joining the Wizards. He seems to have chemistry with his new teammates and has a total of 15 assists in his two games in Washington. His indicators are all positive as is his growing role with his new team. Buy now as his $3,900 salary is at it’s lowest point in the entire season.
Larry Nance Jr. (CLE) vs NYK
Larry Nance Jr. is an absolute steal on DraftKings tonight. At a $5,900 salary (compare to $7,100 on FanDuel) is producing Kawhi Leonard ($9,100 DK) type numbers. Over the past five games, Nance has averaged 38.3 FPPF. Leonard has averaged 37.6 FPPF over the same span. Recent trades have cleared the way for Nance to fill the stat sheet and the injury to Tristan Thompson paves the path to continued production. Nance’s stats of late put him at elite status, even if his salary doesn’t indicate his jump in production where he has logged 5 straight double-doubles. We don’t expect the return of Kevin Love (likely to play tonight) to impact Nance’s minutes or production very much (if at all).
