Slate Overview & Weather Notes
It’s the final day of the 2018 MLB regular season, and we still have some playoff positioning to figure out. All teams are set, but MIL/CHC and LAD/COL are still battling it out for who gets the division crowns. If both teams in the division both win or lose, we’re looking at a tiebreaker tomorrow. However, if one wins and the other loses, we’re looking at the winner capturing the division and the loser heading to the wild card. That means we’ll see their best offensive lineups and potentially a short leash for starting pitchers that struggle.
Weather is supposed to be pretty cool overall, but should be fairly cooperative. There is a low risk in Minnesota, Kansas City and Chicago today (with the one in Wrigley being of the most potential concern).
