Featuring in-depth analysis of the main slate on August 14, 2018 (8/14). Daily fantasy baseball analysis for today's MLB DFS slate to help you build winning cash game and tournament lineups on DraftKings.
First and foremost – welcome to The Primer column for the 2018 MLB DFS Season! We’re thrilled to be back to the grind of the baseball season, helping you build killer DFS lineups for FanDuel, DraftKings or whatever other sites you choose to play on (this article does have a DraftKings bias though).
It’s a busy Tuesday with 14 games on the main slate. It is going to be a very interesting day to play this group of games, as there are seemingly endless avenues to consider when building your lineups – particularly on a 2 SP site like DraftKings (the focus of The Primer, of course). I’m going to take you down a somewhat contrarian route here – just to give you something different to consider for GPPs.
I will be the first to admit this is a unique approach in that we’ll look at what a lineup could look like fading Justin Verlander
or the other 5-digit names – however with the prices of some marquee bats that I want to have at least some access to, it’ll take some compromises on the mound.
Enough chit chat… let’s get down to the goods.
