Welcome to the Core Four where we share four core players on FantasyDraft that you are going to want to target for NBA DFS contests on Tuesday, March 13, 2018.
In this article, I will be giving you four players to target in your cash game lineups for FantasyDraft. They will consist of two guards with one of the guards being a value play and two forwards/centers with one of those players being a value play as well.
Teague has been a cash game staple of mine over the past month or so as all he has done is get the job done. In his past 12 games, Teague is averaging 17 points, 3.8 rebounds, 7.3 assists, and 1.6 steals. Teague has produced at least 30 fantasy points in 11 of those games. Teague has especially played well in the six games since Butler went down with an injury. In those games, Teague is averaging 37.92 fantasy points. Tonight despite a poor match-up against the Wizards I am expecting similar production from the underprice Teague.
This is a total gut call by me and not a play for the faint of heart. With that being said if you are willing to risk it I think Collinsworth is an excellent play tonight at only $200 above site minimum with Wesley Matthews out for the season. With Matthews out last game, Collinsworth played 25 minutes and had a decent game with five points, ten rebounds, two assists, a block and a steal on his way to 24 fantasy points. With the Mavs in full tank mode, I am expecting we see similar minutes out of Collinsworth as they see if he is worth keeping around. Not only do I expect the minutes to be there for Collinsworth I like the match-up against him against the Knicks who are not a great defensive team and have struggled against two guards this season.
One of the reasons why I am playing Kyle Collinsworth tonight is so I can afford both LeBron James and Anthony Davis as both are primed for big games. I talked about Davis in the DraftKings Starting Five article and will focus on James instead in this article. James like Davis has been playing amazing basketball as of late. In his past 14 games, the King is averaging a triple-double with 29.1 points, 10 rebounds, and 10.3 assists. James has produced at least 50 fantasy points in each of those games. Not only is James playing well but the match-up against the Suns doesn’t get any better. The Suns are one of if not the worst defensive team in the NBA. This season the Suns allow the most fantasy points per game, most points per game and have the worst defensive efficiency in the NBA.
I normally don’t like giving you risky plays in this article but here we are with a second risky value play but like Kyle Collinsworth, I think Okafor can pay off big time tonight due to an injury. With Okafor, the guy that is injured is Jarrett Allen. Now unlike Wesley Matthews, Allen has not been ruled out but it looks more and more likely he will not play. If Allen does sit I imagine the Nets turn to Okafor and see what they really have in him before having to make a decision on him in the offseason. If that does happen Okafor who has a ton of talent and is not afraid to shoot the basketball should easily be able to pay off his salary despite the awful match-up against the Raptors. Once again this play is risky and is probably better suited for GPPs instead of cash games.
