Do you have any tips?

The thing about Daily Fantasy Sports is every user is going to use our software differently and that is how it should be used. With tools like LineupRewind, we offer the user the unique ability to go back and recrunch the previous day's slate to test new strategies and find out the strategy that works best for you. There is no right or wrong answer on what settings to use or how to craft projections to the way the user wants. So while everyone is going to be different, there are a few tips I think that are generally universal.

  1. Pay attention to the news and make sure to refresh your page to get the latest projection update. In sports like NBA or MLB, news can be minute-to-minute and while we account for the change, you will want to refresh your page to get the most recent updates.
  2. Make changes! Our projections are a great starting point for every slate and sport, but they shouldn't be the only thing you crunch by. Trust your gut, craft projections to your liking, and know that you are going to need players to exceed their projections to win contests.
  3. Research! There are always going to be factors that can not be directly accounted for in projections. Hot streaks, cold streaks, narratives, etc. The truth is just simply that you are never going to be able to craft a perfect projection, but utilizing the knowledge or information you may have can give you the extra edge you need.
